Bodyshop Manager's Master Class
March 2008

Who should attend this programme?
The programme is designed specifically for Bodyshop Managers, regardless of experience and regardless of franchise, we focus upon the "business and demands" of Bodyshop management and nothing else. It's also an outstanding platform for aspiring Bodyshop Managers where the Bodyshop owner is handing over to the next generation as part of a serious career development path.

Prerequisite?
We only want people who are willing to go the extra mile in pursuit of developing themselves and their company. You will need to be dedicated because you will have to complete 2 assignments and you may need to do some work at home; that depends on how good you are at time management. Are you ready for such a challenge and commitment?

What tools do you need for the job?
This is a very interactive programme with a lot of work on your part so you will need a pen, pencil, rubber, note paper, calculator, laptop, MS Office software and Bodyshop Management modelling software to interpret your management accounts.
A brand new laptop and software is included in the Master Class programme
Don't worry, you only need to bring your management accounts with you because we supply you with everything including the laptop and software - and all of it is yours to keep - even the laptop and software!

We supply you with everything because we don't want any excuses! We don't want you to say that you don't have access to the tools you need to do the job. If you are dedicated, we'll support you.

How big is the Master Class and who will I be working with?
Master Class consists of a maximum of 12 people. The other 11 people could be from an independent Bodyshop or a franchised dealer; the one thing you will all have in common is that you run a Bodyshop and you want to generate better results. We mix up the people within Master Class in this way because you often learn more from outside of your usual working experience than you do for others around you.

You become part of a Master Mind groupWhat is a Master Mind group?
On Day 2, you will be placed into a Master Mind group consisting of 3 or 4 people and you will be working together with them in competition against the other Master Mind groups to see who can produce the most commercial gain and generate the best results throughout the whole year.

Do you have what it takes to be part of the winning Master Mind group?

Assignment #1
Upon completion of the 3-day intensive event it's back to the real world to implement what you have learned into your own Bodyshop.

To begin the process, you'll be given an assignment which asks you to formally assess your own business and produce a detailed proposal for improvement.

Your assignment will be formally assessed and graded by Jeff Smith and you will receive written feedback on your development; don't forget that you'll have access to Jeff Smith as your Mentor to help you every step of the way.

However, don't think that this is an easy route, it is not, there are more demands on you to deliver commercial gain than anything else. In other words, we demand proof that you are capable of generating more profit.

Here's what the IMI say about the standard of our achievements in this area:

"Insight's assignments are extremely comprehensive and well structured
with a very high focus on delivering commercial gain in the workplace.

They are based on extensive research and analysis of relevant factors,
and it is obvious that the candidates have been thoroughly prepared.

As a result, motivation of the learners is high and
gains for their businesses are clearly evident."
